Large sandy beaches on one side, more secluded coves on the other: the coastal path connects the latter three, making it easy to find a quiet spot even in August.

On the peninsula, several water sports centers offer sailing, paddleboarding, water skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. By bike, the cycle path that passes near the campsite leads to La Croix-Valmer. And during the season, a small train runs between Gassin and Ramatuelle along the Route des Moulins de Paillas.

Distances are relatively short, but traffic can be heavier during peak season. To freely access the beaches, villages, and natural areas of the peninsula, a car remains the most practical option. It's advisable to plan your trips in advance during the summer, especially for excursions to Saint-Tropez and Pampelonne.

Gassin is in the centre of the peninsula, which puts Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle, Grimaud, Port Grimaud and La Croix-Valmer less than a quarter of an hour away by car.
The Marines de Gassin are among the closest beaches to the campsite. You can also reach the Plage du Débarquement (Landing Beach), then continue on to Pampelonne, l'Escalet or Gigaro to enjoy a variety of beaches, coves and Mediterranean landscapes.
Partially. A footpath accessible from the campsite leads to the old village of Gassin in a 50-minute walk. A cycle path passes nearby and provides access to La Croix-Valmer. During the season, a small train runs between Gassin and Ramatuelle via the Route des Moulins de Paillas. The Pôle de Santé bus stop, on the Varlib network, is a 10-minute walk away. For beaches and more distant villages, a car is still necessary.
Start at the port and the narrow streets of the historic center, then continue towards the market, the shaded squares, or the viewpoints overlooking the Gulf. Depending on your preferences, the day can be extended with a stroll along the coast or a swim at one of the peninsula's beaches.
